Research at UCCS focuses on three main themes: energy, environment and sustainable development. It is organized around three scientific axes: Catalysis and Molecular Chemistry, Heterogeneous Catalysis, and Solid State Chemistry. UCCS research activities are particularly oriented towards catalytic valorization of biomass, fine chemistry, plant chemistry, pollution treatment, new fuels, nuclear fuels and wastes, fuel cells, eco-compatible materials.
